Track lighting
Track lighting is chosen as a system: the rail layout, fittings and supporting components need to be specified together. It can be considered for interiors where the position and direction of individual lights are part of the design. Share your ceiling plan and intended lighting positions so the proposed system can be reviewed as a whole.
What to consider before choosing
Mark the proposed rail runs, corners and supply points. Confirm whether the project needs a surface-mounted, recessed or suspended arrangement.
Check compatibility within the selected manufacturer's system. Do not assume that rails, adapters, magnetic fittings or connectors from different ranges are interchangeable.
Include power supplies, end pieces, mounting components and the required control interface in the specification, alongside the luminaires themselves.
